Privacy, kept simple.

This website is deliberately privacy-light. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, social-media embeds or non-essential cookies.

Who is responsible

The website is operated for Faye Ruby. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@fayeruby.com.

Technical logs

When you visit, the hosting infrastructure may temporarily process your IP address, requested page, date and time, browser user agent, referrer and response status. This is used only to deliver the site, diagnose faults and protect it from abuse.

We rely on legitimate interests in operating and securing a reliable website. Raw logs are kept for no longer than 14 days. If a specific security incident requires an investigation, relevant records may be kept for that concrete investigation and are deleted when no longer needed. Access is restricted to the website administrator and hosting provider where necessary.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, profiling or personalised advertising. That is why there is no cookie-consent banner.

External links

Release, YouTube and social-media services are shown as ordinary links. No content from those services loads on this website. If you choose to follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Email

If you contact the privacy address, the sender address, message and any attachments are used to answer and document the request. We rely on legitimate interests and, where required, compliance with data-protection law. Access is limited to the website administrator and email provider. Correspondence is normally deleted within 12 months after the request is closed, unless it is needed longer for a legal claim or obligation.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the processing of your personal data. Contact the address above to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (opens in a new tab).
